Wendy has a delightful presence about her, and her voice
is remarkably soulful, rich and pleasing to the ear. As
a performer and vocalist, Wendy somehow manages to be both larger than
life, and your "buddy". Listening to her sing is jointly an exciting
and refreshing experience, as she combines current-day melodic pop with
a country element that is unexpectedly soulful. She refers to her style
as her own genre, New Pop. Wendy has been the recipient of numerous musical awards and scholarships, including a scholarship from the internationally acclaimed Berklee College of Music. She has performed at countless Boston music venues such as the famous Ryles Jazz Club, Sculler's, the House of Blues, and the Berklee Performance Center. She's also taken the stage as a featured vocalist in numerous charity shows and benefits. Wendy was chosen to sing the national anthem before the Boston Red Sox on more than one occasion, and 32,000 fans went crazy for her there at Fenway Park. She also sang at Fenway numerous times for the annual Field of Dreams event. Wendy's singing was featured at New York City's hallowed Madison Square Garden for a 9/11 benefit hosted by actor/writer Steve Buscemi. Her first nationally televised gig was aired on NBC, as Olympic Champion Nancy Kerrigan performed her routine to Wendy's voice. So many viewers made inquiries as to who performed the song that Wendy's name had to be put up on Nancy's official website. Wendy is currently writing new material and recording an original CD in her New Pop genre.
